WT ProBono

Nonprofits rarely get expert brand and employer brand work — the budget goes to the mission, as it should. Companies want their giving to mean more than a day of painting fences. WT connects the two: real strategic work for a nonprofit that needs it, resourced through a company that wants its impact to count. Everyone’s contribution goes further.

Built at the highest level of brand.
Before employer brand, we came up through corporate brand design and consulting — Siegel+Gale, the Brand Union, contract work for Landor and Interbrand, and B2C design firms. Then two decades building employer brands for some of the largest companies in the country. The nonprofits we work with get that same standard, not a volunteer version of it.
The double bind of doing good.
Nonprofits need real creative strategy and communication tools as much as any company does. But every dollar raised is meant for the mission, not the marketing — as it should be. So the work that would help them raise more, reach more, and last longer is the first thing they can’t justify spending on. An ESG-funded partnership through WT breaks that bind: the strategic work gets done, and not a dollar comes out of the mission.
What you say has to work in order to work.
A cause’s promise gets tested the moment someone shows up — a volunteer, a donor, the person you’re there to help. If the message doesn’t match what they actually find, it doesn’t matter how good the creative is. So the work starts with what’s real, and builds the brand on that.
Strategic Services
The good part is getting to do good work.
Real strategic work, done for people doing hard, necessary things. After twenty years of brand work, this is the version we’re proudest of.
